Designed for inline applications. The PoE-Extender takes PoE power (24-57 volts) from any IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at or 24 volt passive POE injector or switch. Then extends the power and data on the Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 Ethernet data cable to your device.
